Final Presentation

Here is the link to my final presentation on researching effective methods in science education.  I have learned a lot throughout this blog "experience" - especially about how my ideas have transformed over the last couple months.

  1. Great presentation! I really enjoyed how it summed up your whole thought process. The idea of being able to teach all learners is a great idea, is it feasible? Your presentation made it more so :) Great work.

  2. Thank you for organizing the key ideas from science methods so far. I'm not sure if that is what you intended, but it really helped me review. I hope I can access this when I am out there teaching. I enjoyed your posts.

  3. I really like how you summarized the main ideas from your research! I agree that learning is more than just getting the key concepts of a lesson. Learning should not just go as far as a lab; it should be an ongoing experience. Overall, I thought this was a great presentation, and very well organized! I especially liked how you included a brief synopsis of your blog posts.

  4. My thoughts are similar to Susan's. Your presentation concisely summed up what our Methods class has presented so far. It was helpful to read all those points together in one project. I'm sure this will prove useful in the future. Thanks!

  5. I think that your final presentation sums up your research really well. I've learned a lot about effective methods in science by following your posts. I especially liked reading about the importance of asking questions and how we can become better at asking questions!

  6. This is a really cool presentation. Although it is just a powerpoint, it was interesting! I liked how you incorporated pictures and how some slides just had one or two sayings on them while others had more info or quotes. It was interesting and got me more interested in your topic! I also like how you put a list of your blog posts and what they were about at the end of your presentation. Very cool!

  7. I was really interested by one of the quotes you included in your presentation about the notion that students having different learning styles is a myth. At first, I thought there's no way that's a myth but as I finished reading the quote I actually agreed with it. I've never looked at it that way before and find that fact really facinating!

  8. Wow lots of info!! Great job! This presentation really got me informed on your entire project. I liked how you had each of your blog posts and their topic listed to see what you have all researched. I also liked how your first slide introduced 3 questions to ponder.
