  1. Awesome presentation Brandon. Its very convincing though I still have questions with the extent to which we should be using technology in the classroom. I'm going to go back and look at you posts. Great job!

  2. Brandon, I really enjoyed your presentation. The information presented was well organized and helpful. I like the progression of information, it really helps the viewer understand your research. I also think it would be beneficial for me to view your posts to answer some questions I still have about your information.

  3. Brandon, that was a lovely presentation and I can see you using it in the future for a variety of reasons: to share with other teachers, to use in your portfolio, and to show future employers or other school leaders. It is evident that you spent a lot of time perfecting your presentation and it is nice you can use it for other things! This is one of those topics that some classroom teachers think we can ignore but in reality, it is meeting our students' needs and only helping them succeed. Good work!

  4. Great job! You highlighted the crucial positive points of using technology in the classroom, but also spent time on reviewing the challenges that can arise using technology. I liked your mention on "old school" techniques and technophobia. We need to realize that technology is a way to connect to our students and help them learn. When used appropriately, technology is a wonderful context to support learning. This year I have Skyped, used Smart Boards, blogged, created a website all for education and my students.

  5. Brandon,

That is an amazing presentation. I loved the music and the message. As you indicated in your presentation, technology in the classroom is a great tool to engage and interest students. But we need to make sure we don't use technology for the sake of using it. The technology must enhance the ultimate goal of leaning....

  6. Brandon,
I really enjoyed your presentation, and how you found ways through music and effects to keep me engaged in the slide show. There were two things that really stuck out to me in your presentation. The first was at the bottom of some of your slides where it said make the connection. I thought this was a great idea, and helped me better understand the point you were trying to make. The other thing I really enjoyed about your presentation was that you did not just focus on the positive of technology in the classroom. Like most things there are challenges and as you talked about in one of your slides money is a very real challenge for bringing technology into the classrooms.

  7. Brandon, I really liked how you incorporated so many different topics throughout your presentation. I agree with you that technology is important in the classroom, although sometimes it is difficult with low budgets, lack of resources, and a low-income community. I guess it's important to work with what we have available. Nice presentation!

  8. Brandon,
Great presentation! This could definitely be used as a presentation for administrators. Technology is something that is fast becoming a huge part of classrooms today. I like that you showed the increase in the cost of technology and the decrease in school budgets. I also liked how many pictures you had along with your information. Great work.

  9. Brandon,
I thought you did an amazing job with your final presentation. I have never heard of the program before. It turned out awesome. You can tell you put a lot of hard work and effort into this final project. Technology in the classrooms is so critical in our society today, and I liked that for your project you made a video like this to incorporate the use of technology. I really liked the end where you had the video clips and the people talking for the "Did you know..." Excellent job!

  10. Good job, Brandon.
I've enjoyed the content of your posts, and you do a nice job pulling everything together. The delivery is as important as the message, and you make it understandable and enjoyable. We've shared some comments during the semester about our concerns over wether there's too much technology in the classroom. I know it has it's place and I'll do my best to use it to use it wisely. I think the SMART Board has to be one of the best tools a teacher can use. It's the one type of technology I feel is a must-have for the science classroom.
